Helpful hints for your day
- Make sure everyone knows the correct address, date and time of your society meeting.
- Ensure everyone coming is familiar with the rules and etiquette of golf.
- Check that players dress correctly on and off the course and have the right equipment.
- Select your meals from the menu provided.
- Remember to work out the format and handicaps for the day.
- Don't forget the prizes. Discount is given to all societies when they shop at 'Woodspring'.
- Confirm the correct numbers 3 CLEAR DAYS prior to the date.
- You will be charged for this number of meals unless you increase them
- Please note that a round of 18 holes takes approximately 4 hours.
- The suggested interval between 4 balls is 8 minutes.
- Earliest start time for societies is 8am
Dress Regulations
Basically look like a golfer. No Jeans, tracksuits or trainers. Shirts must have a collar, tailored shorts are permitted with socks that cover the ankle. Golf shoes must be worn. In the club house, a jacket and tie is not compulsory but smart dress is required. A change of clothing is requested. Don't forget, if you need help, 'Woodspring' team are hear to look after you.
